1. Professional Photo Restoration Services

Fix My Old Photo provides professional digital photo restoration and editing services. We utilize advanced digital techniques to attempt to repair, sharpen, enhance, and optionally colorize vintage, damaged, or faded photographs.

Please Note: Every photo is unique. While we strive for museum-quality results, the final outcome depends heavily on the condition and resolution of the original image submitted.

2. Pricing & Secure Payment

Flat-Rate Pricing: Our professional restoration service is a flat fee of $79 per image.
Upfront Payment: Payment is required to secure your spot in our work queue.
Security: All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

3. Best-Effort Promise & Revisions

We promise to apply our full expertise to every image. However, photo restoration is an art form limited by the data available in your original file.

Best Effort Standard: We cannot "invent" details that are completely lost to damage (e.g., a face entirely burned away). We will restore your image to the absolute best condition possible given the source material.
Revisions: We offer unlimited revisions to fine-tune the result (e.g., adjusting skin tones, sharpness, or lighting) within the limits of the original photo's quality.
Refund Policy: If we determine that a photo is beyond repair and we cannot improve it to a standard we are proud of, we will issue a full refund. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.

4. Delivery Timeline

Fast Turnaround: Most digital restorations are completed and delivered within 24 hours.
Complex Repairs: Severely damaged photos requiring extensive manual reconstruction may take 48-72 hours.
Digital Delivery: All restored photos are delivered as high-resolution digital files via email/download link.

5. Assessment & Feasibility

We practice honest assessment. If you upload a photo that is too damaged to yield a quality result, we will notify you before we begin work. In these cases, we will void the transaction and you will not be charged. We prefer to decline a job than to deliver a poor result.

6. Copyright & Content

By submitting a photo, you confirm that you own the image or have the necessary rights/permissions to have it restored. Fix My Old Photo respects intellectual property rights and is not liable for unauthorized submissions. Please review our Privacy Policy to see how we protect your memories.
